What a great way to start the school year - a surprise for your teacher on the first day of school (or at least during the first week!)  Teachers are always needing notepads to write the ever important notes home, lists of things to do, or just notes to their teammates.  Give them a little smile when you hand them there own personalized notepad.  You can include their name, their school, a call back number if needed, etc.

Sweet Pea Printing: Closing during the move

To all my customers:

First let me tell you how much I appreciate each and every one of you.  You all have made the adventure of selling my "Sweet Peas" fun.  I have been able to meet several people that I may not have had the chance to meet had it not been for Sweet Pea Printing.  I enjoy seeing the smiles on your faces when you get something that is JUST for you!  It also has been nice to hear how a friend has received their "Sweet Peas" as a gift.

Due to the unexpected move that my family and I are about to make, Sweet Pea Printing will be closing for a short period of time in order to prepare for the move, moving, and settling in at our new home.  We will be moving from Leander to College Station as soon as school is over.  My husband was transferred to Lowe's in Bryan and we are excited about the move.  It is like going home for us - we both went to school there and we had our first child there as well.  Plus we can always enjoy Aggie football too!!!

Do not panic though - I still have many good friends in the Austin area, so I will back down here for shows and such.  You are also going to be able to order from this blog, through email (katie@sweetpeaprinting.com), or by calling me at 512-663-3639.  As of right now I am planning on being at the Georgetown First Baptist Show and Westlake Bible Church if they do not conflict with each other.

So enjoy the rest of Spring and the beginning of Summer too.  I will back ready for business in late June and then off for a week in July for our annual family beach vacation.  Take care and God Bless you all.

Cowgirl Princess Party

Recently I was approached to create an invitation for a little girl turning one.  Her mother asked about a theme where the little girl would be portrayed as a princess who was also a cowgirl.  She mentioned that she would like a tractor as well.  I  was a little stumped at first but this is what I came up with:

The invitation will be completed with a black bow with white polka dots tied at the top!

Babies Everywhere

Recently several of my friends have added to their families with sweet bundles of joy- true gifts from God!  I have had the privilege of creating birth announcements for a few of the blessings.  My favorite creation so far was the announcement I created for the Griffith Family.  Not only is Carter adorable but their other kids are just as precious.  You can tell they are proud to have a little brother.  Enjoy!

Sweet Pea Printing will be Closed through January 10th

First of all I want to thank all my new customers and returning customers for a fantastic holiday season.  You guys kept us busy making some great "Sweet Peas" for your friends and family.  I love some of the design ideas that you all came up with this year!  I hope that your "Sweet Peas" were loved by all.

We also wanted to let you know that Sweet Pea Printing will not be accepting orders until after January 10, 2007.  We are going to be taking some well deserved family time visiting a little place called "Disney" and just hanging out with our girls.

We hope you have a wonderful New Year's Eve and have a great start to 2007!  We look forward to helping you in 2007 by making all those personalized paper goods for your friends and families.

Great Gift to give your Mommy friends

This time of year can become a little hectic when trying to budget money for all the holiday gifts and show your appreciation for your mommy friends.  An easy, affordable solution is to have a "From the Mom of..." notepad created for them.  It is easy to order and only costs $8.25 plus tax (S/H extra if you need it mailed).  I will need the following:

the names of the kids

the ages of the kids (needed for size)

a graphic to fit each kid (if three or less kids: choose a full body image / if four or more kids: choose a head)

mommy's name (if you want it printed at the lower right hand corner)

Place you order before December 10th to ensure delivery before Christmas!
